Since 2005 I have begun to use video work embedded into the furniture - it seemed like a natural direction, having seen the advent of 'entertainment centers'. My use of digital collage and photography with the early "Turning Japanese" series investigated the role of imagery within the work, creating a diorama of sorts: the videos became a step forward in that the images began to move and perform within these dioramas. The objects are shown separately and you can view the videos on another page. All of the videos are created using Final Cut - some videos comprise of montages of stills and video, some videos were shot in the studio and edited.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center is to be credited for their support and creative space they provided for me to develop this direction of work. (see links)
